A local license works with a key file on your computer or on a server on your local area network (LAN). You must activate a local license before you can use it. You can move a license between computer by deactivating the active installation, and the activating the other. If activate on a network server, your can share a local license between multiple users.
Note:PROKON version 3.0 introduced License Manager, a new way of managing your license. Since PROKON version 3.1, License Manager is the only available license system, and you must upgrade to License Manager to be able to use newer version of PROKON. This new system shields users from the complexity of licensing and removes the hardware and network problems sometimes associated with local licenses. Using License Manager is currently optional, but eventually it will be the only licensing scheme.
